Eska is one of the three finalists for the Groningen Entrepreneur Award 2016! That is excellent news and we are extremely proud that out of nine nominees Eska was selected as one of the finalists. Over the coming period, the jury will form its opinion on our strategic vision, our marketing vision and our efforts in the area of corporate social responsibility. Exciting and we are looking forward to the results with confidence. We have every reason to be optimistic…

Strong field 
You don't win the Groningen Entrepreneur Award just like that. Anybody in Groningen who knows the world of business will tell you that this is a strong field. However, Eska is full of self-belief. We implemented a daring strategy, work more sustainably and continue to reinvent ourselves. Will we be able to convince the jury? On 24 November 2016 we will know more when the winner will be announced…


From supplier to partner
Over the past period Eska has changed tack. We set out a new course and developed from 'supplier' to 'partner'. This means we do more than supply cardboard, we form creative teams with brand owners, designers and converters. With our knowledge, experience and innovative ideas we add value to the entire chain.

The strategy is already bearing fruit - we have acquired a wonderful position in markets for luxury packaging for fashion, whisky and champagne.


Investing in sustainability
We are doing well in the area of corporate social responsibility, because we have sustainable working methods. We are constantly looking for energy savings, which is good for the environment and our operating result. Sustainability and efficiency go hand in hand at Eska. Eska is investing more than 14 million Euro in a gasification plant that will capture energy from contamination in wastepaper and this energy is reused in the production process.
